Day 1
TRANSFER TO UGANDA FROM RWANDA
Transfer from Kigali, Rwanda to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (or Mgahinga National Park).
The drive will keep you entertained!
Day 2
GORILLA TRACKING
Today you have a unique experience to trek and meet at close quarters the rare mountain gorilla. There are only around 1200 of these magnificent creatures left in the world with about 1/3 of those in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Early in the morning after breakfast you will be taken to the park headquarters where you will be educated on gorilla behaviour and assigned into groups. The trek can take between 2-6 hours depending on the movements of these primates. You will trek up and down rugged terrain until finally you meet these exceptional creatures that will entertain you once you find them. This is one of the great natural animal encounters on the planet.
Return to the lodge to freshen up, have lunch and then choose between relaxation, an island boat tour, a visit of the Batwa community or swimming.

Day 3
TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI, RWANDA
After breakfast transfer to Kigali International Airport through Kyanika border a 4.5 hour scenic drive.
If the time for your flight allows it, your guide will stop at Kigali Genocide Memorial for a moving, educational and ultimately inspiring experience.
Over 250,000 people are buried on the site of this memorial.
